About the Client
Jurojin Poker is a multi-tabling software and online poker HUD. It enables players to increase their earnings in games by providing information and shortcuts. Users download it to gain better insights into their opponents, learn from their plays, and customize their gaming experience.
Project Objectives
- Make Google traffic the primary source of new user acquisition: In order to decrease the Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Jurojin Poker set out to increase organic traffic generated through online searches.
- Position Jurojin Poker as the premier tool for multi-tabling poker players: While multi-tabling is a well-known term, there isn’t a single software associated with this practice commonly used by professional online poker players. The brand sought to associate this practice with its application.
- Create content that addresses the concerns of online poker players: Jurojin faced the need to guide poker players towards their best version, offering from reviews to complex strategies that readers may require to professionalize their game.
Challenges
- Website optimization deficiencies: In order to make Google the primary channel for new user traffic, one challenge the brand faced was technical SEO errors. While they have excellent professionals in programming on their team, they required the expertise of an SEO specialized agency to make these adjustments.
- Lack of SEO keywords to attract traffic:To position Jurojin Poker as the premier software for multitabling, Jurojin’s website needed to have a specific strategy for growing keywords.
- Lack of personalized content: Jurojin’s team had already focused on creating helpful articles for their users, manuals to understand all the features of the software, and answering FAQs. However, they were overlooking other relevant aspects for their target audience, such as where to play, the logic behind certain strategies, analysis of other complementary programs, and more.
Solutions
a. On-Page and Off-Page SEO Optimization
When analyzing Jurojin Poker’s website during the SEO project onboarding with UPosition Agency, we noticed several on-page SEO errors: pages were not indexed, meaning Google wasn’t crawling them; issues with HTTP protocol redirection; low-speed performance on both Mobile and Desktop; errors in titles and meta-descriptions of site URLs; lack of image optimization; and even UX errors. Also, while examining Jurojin’s off-page SEO, we observed some broken links.
Therefore, the focus of the work shifted towards modifying the site according to the required guidelines to achieve positioning and domain authority.
b. Personalized Keyword Research
We executed all optimizations and content created for Jurojin following the development of a strategic document: the keyword research.
This document contains keywords organized by search volume on Google and positioning difficulty. It also categorizes keywords based on search intent, considering the buyer’s journey.
At UPosition Agency, we crafted buyer personas that align with Jurojin’s target audience and structured the keyword research around their searches. We also conducted a competitive analysis to shape the strategy effectively.
c. Content Plan to Incorporate Keywords
We crafted top-of-the-funnel articles to attract online poker players who were not yet ready to commit to a paid tool; middle-of-the-funnel articles for players who were evaluating tools to enhance their poker earnings; and finally, bottom-of-the-funnel articles for players determined to increase their poker winnings and seeking alternatives such as poker software and poker HUDs.
We focused on positioning Juroijn as the ultimate multitabling software immediately by targeting BOFU keywords and adapting the strategy monthly to new searc trends.

Comparing January 2024 with August 2023 (before commencing the SEO strategy), we improved by 16.5 points on Google search results, marking a growth of +38% in on SERP.
By rectifying technical SEO errors on Jurojin’s website and crafting content based on a keyword positioning strategy, we successfully achieved our objectives.
2) +59.3K Growth in Impressions and +4.3K Growth in Clicks in 4 Months
Upon comparing October 2023 to January 2024 with the previous period, we observed a total growth of +59.3K (equivalent to +32%) in Impressions and +4.3K in clicks (equivalent to +36%).
This shows us that we successfully reached our desired audience with the generated content, as we not only received more website visits but also increased engagement.
3) +61% of New Users in 4 Months
Comparing February 2024 with October 2023, the first month in which articles were published on Jurojin’s Blog, we noticed a growth in total users of +35%, reaching 12K users on the website. And, in terms of new users, we experienced a growth of +61%, reaching 9.8K.
As most of the website traffic came from new users, we can confirm that we successfully achieved the goal of reaching new audiences with the SEO strategy (not just nurturing existing users).
4) 71.7K Impressions in a Month
In January 2024, there was a milestone in impressions, reaching +71.7K, representing a growth of +20K impressions compared to the previous month (+41%).
This result also underscores how site optimization and the creation of personalized content allowed Jurojin’s website to gain broader reach.
5) 7.9% Click Through Rate in a Month
In February 2024, we reached a CTR milestone of 7.9%. The click-through rate is a metric that shows people’s interaction with Jurojin’s website, demonstrating not only our ability to attract visitors but also to guide them towards software downloads, or continue navigating on the website.
6) Keywords Top Positioning Monthly
We consistently maintained the #1 position in Google results with the software name. In addition, we achieved a top #10 ranking alongside competitors like “sharkscope” and “pokertracker.”
This signifies that our strategy is successful in attracting traffic for keywords related to poker tools, specifically individuals seeking information and downloads for different software.
7) 8.5K Organic Sessions in a Month
In February 2024, we achieved 8.5K organic sessions on the site, representing individuals who visited Jurojin’s website after conducting a Google search.
8) 379 Keywords in a Month
After making adjustments to on-page and off-page SEO in the initial months, removing unwanted keywords from the page, and focusing the strategy on our target customer, we reached a high of 379 keywords in March 2024.
